This is a series of 6 classes that have an educational component as well as hands-on work with your dog, including:

• Shaping behaviors & timing
• Attention/Focus work
• Handling exercises
• Solving problem behaviors:   barking, mouthing, jumping
• Listening around distractions
• Basic Skills:  sit, down, stay, watch me, leash walking, come, leave it

This is a series of 6 classes designed to continue your dog’s education and training.  In this class, we will enhance the basics and introduce higher level skills, including:

• Heel – walk by my side, on & off leash (at instructor’s discretion)
• Recall – off leash (at instructor’s discretion)
• Distraction skills – focus & stay with distractions
• Place command – go to a bed or cot and lie down
• Distance work – sit & down commands at a distance

This is a series of 3 classes designed to prepare you and your dog for the AKC® Canine Good Citizen Test.  The AKC® Canine Good Citizen program is designed to recognize dogs who have good manners at home and in the community.  All dogs who pass the 10 step CGC test may receive a certificate from the American Kennel Club.

This is a series of 5 classes designed to introduce you & your dog to all of the obstacles in the fun sport of dog agility.  Watch your dog’s confidence grow as s/he navigates obstacles, walks on different surfaces, and runs through tunnels.  Agility is a great tool for relationship building and helps stimulate your dog’s mind & body!  Warning… this sport can be addicting!

This is a series of 5 classes designed to strengthen and build on the skills learned in Agility Ability.  Now, your dog is familiar & comfortable with every obstacle - - let’s start sequencing obstacles and working on mini-courses!  Watch your dog fly.  This is great exercise and fun for both you and your dog!

Rally Obedience is a fun sport where the dog and handler heel through a course and at each numbered station, perform the obedience exercise indicated on the sign.  Rally is more relaxed than competitive obedience and gives dogs and handlers a fun way to show off their teamwork and great obedience skills.  Bring plenty of treats and fun toys to reward your dog.  Topics covered include:

• Heel work – slow, normal, fast pace
• Sign recognition
• Left/Right/About turns
• Halts
• Finish right/left

This is a series of 4 classes where you will learn how to use a clicker to expand your dog’s understanding of simple tricks & how to shape new behaviors.  Skills include:

Shaping behaviors through positive markers
Target training
Roll over
High 5
Spins
Weave through legs
