"Play-sics" Basic Class (4

Tired of the same old
basics class? Try something new and fun! Did you know play not only provides
your dog with both physical and mental exercise, but can improve the
relationship between yourself and your dog? This class will cover the basic
cues sit, down, stay, come and loose leash walking while incorporating play to
make things more exciting for “pet parent” and dog alike! Home

and nutrition will also be covered to help you better communicate with and
encourage the good behaviors you want from your canine companion! This class is
best suited for dogs over 6 months to a year and a half old.

"Play-sics"
Puppy (4 week class -
$90)

| Your
puppy will learn all the basics and go over all of the home manners and
nutrition provided in our "Play-sics" Basic Class, while emphasizing "Puppy
matters of importance" like socialization and housetraining. Complete with
scheduled socialization time, "Play-sics" Puppy is a must for your young canine
companion! This class is best suited for dogs 3 months to 6 months old. |

| Daycare
Training Program ($400 per
program *) |
| We'll train
your dog while you work! Your dog will come to daycare and spend time working
on behavior cues and issues with Action Pack and Woofers' staff. When your dog
has completed their daycare lessons for the week, we'll show you what your best
friend learned and how you can reinforce the training done. This way your dog
won't forget their new knowledge the minute you walk out the door! In addition
to the day training, the price includes an initial lesson to evaluate your
dog's training needs and two follow up lessons to make sure you and your canine
companion are still on the right path! |

| Action Pack
Private Lessons ($60
per lesson / $150 for a series of 3 / $280 for a series of 6) |
Ideal for
dogs with behavioral issues* to anyone wanting a little
obedience away from a group setting! Free evaluation included in the first
lesson. Unless there is an issue in the home to be addressed, most lessons will
be held at Action Pack Dog Center. A $10 surcharge will apply for lessons given
in-home.
*Behavioral issues include but are not limited to shyness,
nervousness, submissive urination, problems with house training, chewing,
digging, jumping, and barking (strangers, other dogs, out windows, etc).
Aggression Management Training is on a case by case basis. |

Trainer |
|
After adopting aggressive
dogs in 1999 and again in 2001, Dana began her professional journey as at
trainer and behavior consultant. While getting hands on experience with dogs by
volunteering with Austin Humane
Society/SPCA in 2001, Dana began studying and graduated from a
Dog Obedience Trainer/Instructors course in 2003. She also became a
certified professional dog trainer by the
Council For Pet Dog Trainers in 2005. In addition to previously
studying and training with Lee
Mannix, Dana also keeps current on what's going on in the canine world
of training by attending seminars and lectures. She has had the chance to study
with the foremost authority on canine calming signals and stress,
Turid Rugaas, and was able to spend a day of training with world
renowned Canine Behaviorist John
Rogerson. In 2008, she earned a certificate in
Domestic Dog Behavior from
The Companion Animal Sciences Institute. Dana has proven to be a
natural at dog training and has an enthusiasm and caring that makes it easy for
her to relate to canine and human students! She remains committed to education
and keeping dogs out of shelters and rescues and in their "forever homes."
