Owning a dog should bring joy to you and your family. Consider training and/or behavior modification if you are experiencing any of the following frustrating behaviors or situations:

Growling, snapping or biting Pushy/obnoxious adolescent or puppy behavior Housebreaking Come Fence fighting/barking Grooming issues Resource guarding (toys, bed, food, humans) Lack of focus or drive Managing a multiple dog household Introduction of a new dog Displays of aggression towards dogs or people Separation anxiety Fear issues Other problematic or nuisance behavior

How do I get started?

First we’ll schedule a behavior evaluation to discuss your concerns, evaluate your dog and provide you with information to get you both on the right track. You will leave the first lesson with a solid understanding of why the behaviors are occurring along with a plan on how to turn the behaviors around. Your customized behavior modification or training program will typically consist of 2-4 private lessons (this may vary based on your individual needs).

Behavior Evaluation: $40 (approx. 30 minutes - 1 hours)

Private Lessons: $60 for one hour

What do I need?

A martingale/no-slip collar and a 6’ leash. We do not allow the use of choke, pinch or shock collars. Bring several types of treats along with your dog’s favorite toy to each lesson.

Note: Private lessons are required for dogs showing any signs of aggression before they are permitted to enter the group class environment.

All lessons are conducted at Action Pack Dog Center unless an in-home lesson is deemed necessary by your trainer. A $25 travel fee will apply to all in-home lessons.
